Plan your ceremony music with ease by selecting from Kristen’s extensive song list.  Have a song in mind but don’t see it on the list? Want a Disney music themed ceremony? Kristen will accommodate virtually any musical request you may have. If you are unsure of what you would like, Kristen will gladly assist you with selecting music to express yourself on your wedding day.

For your ceremony, Kristen will arrive early and play for thirty minutes preceding your ceremony as your guests arrive. During the ceremony, she will play for all of the processionals, any unity ceremony (if desired), the recessional, and as the guests leave. She is also available for the cocktail hour, license signing, or reception.

If you are looking for a string ensemble for your wedding or event, Kristen is happy to arrange one for you. String Duo, Trio, or Quartet available, in any combination of the following instruments: Violin, Viola, or Cello.

Private Violin Lessons

Kristen has been teaching violin since 2005, starting at a little music shop in her  hometown. She later started her own home studio with her mother, who is a piano teacher. She teaches students of all ages, and loves watching them progress! Several of her students have been members of the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra, and two of them were finalists in the annual Concerto Competition. She loves helping her students accomplish their goals, whether it is to play with an orchestra or learning how to play a favorite piece.

Kristen customize her lessons to each students' unique goals and abilities, believing that it is important for the student to enjoy learning and practicing so that they develop their own passion for music and the violin. She helps her students set their weekly practice goals as well as helping them determine what they want to accomplish during the year. She also believes that positive encouragement is an important aspect of teaching, so that the student is rewarded for their hard work and is inspired to continue accomplishing their goals.

Lessons are taught weekly, in 30, 45, or 60 minute time slots. Please contact for rates and scheduling.
